On arrival at the sezibwa falls after being welcomed by the resident tour guide, you will soon embark on your tour of the area. Later you will come to an area with many shrines where people come for worship and other performing cultural rituals at the top of the Sezibwa falls. The traditional healers have different shrines where people camp for days or overnight depending on their request as they seek for blessings and removal of curses from their ancestors through the traditional doctors. Sezibwa falls area is also one of the many destinations for birding in Uganda. For an avid bird watcher this gives you an opportunity to explore some of the common and rare species of birds. The area is rich in some water birds, forest species and some savannah species found in the agricultural gardens adjacent to the falls. After you will proceed to Mabira Forest for zip lining or Mabira canopy.

Experiencing the Mabira Forest canopy just makes you behave like monkeys! The first of its kind in Uganda. The Mabira Forest Canopy Super Skyway is a canopy “zip-line” system that sends you soaring between the tallest trees in the rainforest. Located 44kms East of Kampala City, outside of Lugazi town at the griffin falls camp, the skyway makes for you a great day.

You are led to pass through ancient trees by experienced Sky Captains / Sky guides across a network of 5 zip-lines that stretches 250 metres across River Musamya. Using strict International safety standards. High up in the canopy one is able to enjoy a view of the forest layers, mammals like grey cheeked mangabeys and red tailed monkeys, birds like palm nut vultures, African fish eagles, great blue turacos and the roaring griffin falls, making your zip a memorable day!

The hike back from the skyway takes you past the beautiful Griffin Falls. Optional activities which can be carried out here include mountain biking.
